What do these numbers mean?
- Download speed is how fast data reaches you: streaming, browsing, downloads. 100 Mbps suits many households.
- Upload speed matters for video calls, cloud backups and gaming uploads. Fiber usually offers the best upload speeds.
- Latency is the delay in milliseconds. Under 30 ms is excellent; over 100 ms can hurt gaming and calls.
- Jitter is how much latency varies. Lower is better for calls and gaming.
Results depend on your Wi-Fi, device and router as well as your plan. If you test over Wi-Fi and get a low result, try a wired connection. Read how much speed you need.
